Sutton Takes Personal Leave of Absence

Radford, Va. - On March 26, Radford's head softball coach, Kami Sutton, informed the University that she will be taking a personal leave of absence for the remainder of the season, announced by Athletics Director, Greig Denny.

With her departure, head field hockey coach, Jeff Woods, and Kari Whitney, former Roanoke College standout and current RU athletic trainer, will take over the program for the rest of the season.

In her fourth season, the Highlanders were 6-25. During this time, Sutton posted a 64-137 overall record and 19-15 in the Big South.
