Men’s Tennis Falls to Arkansas Little Rock, 5-2

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Radford's Men's Tennis Team dropped their second straight duel, falling to Arkansas Little Rock, 5-2 at the Burrows/Burleson Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Tech. The Highlanders fall to 2-3 on the season.

After the Highlanders were swept in the doubles, they did pick up a pair of victories in the singles matches. #1 freshman Brandon Johnson (Roanoke, Va.) defeated Juan Carlos Baca 6-4, 4-6, 10-5, while in the #3 match, freshman Andre' Cavaco (Faro, Portugal) won his match over Sebastian Falk, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.

Radford returns to action on Feb. 15 when they host Cleveland State and will open up Big South Conference play on Feb. 16 when Elon comes to Radford. Both matches begin at 1 p.m.
