Whit Holcomb-Faye's Half-Court Overtime Buzzer Beater
 On Saturday, Jan. 22, High Point University seemed to be on its way to its sixth straight win over Radford men's basketball. HPU senior Jerry Echenique hit a short jumper with 2.5 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Panthers an 83-82 advantage and an apparent win. But RU junior Whit Holcomb-Faye had other plans. He took the inbounds pass and lofted a desperation shot as time expired from 55 feet out. The shot bounced straight up off the rim before falling through to give the Highlanders the victory.
