Finish 6-0 in NorPac Play

Radford, Va. -- Radford (9-9, 6-0 NorPac) scored a goal in each half and received a strong defensive effort holding Davidson (5-11, 1-5 NorPac) to four shots as earned a 2-0 victory on senior day from Dedmon Center field. With the win, the Highlanders completed NorPac Conference play at 6-0, the first time a RU field hockey team has ever gone undefeated in any Conference season.

Radford, who dominated the play much of the day, opened the scoring in the 27th minutes. Senior Angela Feindt (Hartwood, Va.) scored in her final home match at Radford, on a scramble in front of the cage for her second goal of the season.

The Highlanders out shot Davidson 17-4, while penalty corners were even at seven. Wildcat keeper Sarah Nolan had a solid game in goal, making 11 saves, including seven in the second half. Dietz finished the match with three saves as she earned her fourth shutout of the season.
