Seven Highlanders Named to NFHCA Academic Squad Radford, Va. -- Seven student-athletes from Radford's Field Hockey team were honored for their academic achievements for the 2002 season. Jenny Bell, Alison Douglass, Megan Driest, Becky Glynn, Beth Hitchens, Erin Lenhardt and Allison Lussier were named to the 2002 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. The Highlanders posted a 9-11 record in 2002, winning the NorPac East Division (4-1) in just their second season in the Conference. They finished third at the NorPac Championships' after shutting out Pacific, 2-0, in the third place game. |
