Please check my office hours for an appointment if you would like to explore the possibility of working on your thesis with me. As an active scholar, I welcome every opportunity to work with students on a wide variety of topics. The following links to my own publications indicate how lucky I have been to have worked with my past students on topics germane to my own scholarship. I directed theses ranging from James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Katherine Mansfield, and Milan Kundera, to literary criticism, film theory and adaptation, literature and music, philosophy/modernism, etc. My present involvement in several publication projects offers new possibilities for learning and for further publishing, and I'm eager to involve like-minded students in the expanding possibilities of research.
